One thing they don't prepare you for when you finish university is how many of your friends move away and how quickly things change.
And a fun fact about me: I struggle with change.
But what better way to bring people together than through a cafe catch-up and gossip?
On Sunday, my friend and I headed to Cafe De Como to test out their coffee and chat about life updates.

The first thing we noticed was how absolutely gorgeous the cafe was; walking in is like entering a garden oasis. If you've seen Beauty and the Beast, it reminded me of the Beast's gardens.
We chose to set up shop outside, but for students who need a cafe to study, there is an adorable nook near the window where you can escape into an intellectual universe.
I was feeling pekish at today's review and decided to order a slice of biscoff cheesecake alongside an iced latte.
Now we know the cafe vibe is unmatched for two young uni students, but what is the coffee actually like?
Coffee review:
I did order an iced latte with no cream or ice cream, but they brought out an iced coffee. I am terrified of confrontation, so I happily accepted the drink, and we shall rate it off the one I tried.
The ice-cream to coffee ratio was great, however, fresh cream was notably missing.
The Coffee was great, but I did think it was a little weak.
Price point: Normal
7.5/10
As we know, my favourite part of grabbing coffee is the ritual of seeing friends, trying coffee, and going somewhere new.
My friend and I sipped on our drinks and caught up on months' worth of life updates, and all things adulthood and 20s.
What stood out to me were our conversations about how everyone is in drastically different stages of life.
Comparison is the thief of joy, but when we are all in such tumultuous periods, it can be hard not to compare.
Feeling lost and stressed is an unfortunate part of your early 20s; however, talking to friends who feel similarly is incredibly helpful.
